Emma (00:02):
You are listening to Dialogue Frog's Short English Conversations. So, Rachel, what are your plans for tomorrow?

Rachel (00:09):
Tomorrow I will be going to work.

Emma (00:11):
Work. Yay.

Rachel (00:14):
That's okay. I like money.

Emma (00:15):
The- money is good. That, yeah. So, before you go to work, do you have like a, any special daily routine that you do?

Rachel (00:26):
Hm. My, my work pregame, I guess you could call it.

Emma (00:30):
Your work pregame?

Rachel (00:31):
Pregame. Um, it depends on what time of day I work, but sometimes I'll make sure I have food. Like I'll do my meal prep in the morning, make sure I have food to eat and, um, make sure I'm showered. That's probably a good one.

Emma (00:46):
So you shower in the morning.

Rachel (00:48):
Y- no, I generally shower at night.

Emma (00:49):
Oh.

Rachel (00:49):
But um, if I work late then yeah, I'll shower in the morning. Make sure I have food. Get up. I hit snooze button more than I should. Um, but it's yeah, with my job it's kind of difficult to establish a routine, I would say.

Emma (01:05):
I do the same thing though. In the morning, I hit the snooze button quite a few times. I like to sleep until the last possible minute.

Rachel (01:13):
Mm hm.

Emma (01:13):
And then wake up, get dressed and go.

Rachel (01:17):
Mm hm. But it's not, it's not like you're getting more sleep at that point. You're just-

Emma (01:20):
No.

Rachel (01:20):
Procrastinating the inevitable.

Emma (01:23):
Yep. Yep. You already know that you have to wake up. You just don't want to yet.

Rachel (01:26):
You just don't want to. The blankets have taken you.

Emma (01:27):
It's- it's true. Well, this has been another short English conversation. For transcripts and vocabulary lists of this episode, please visit dialoguefrog.com.
