Luke (00:10):
I haven't.
Emma (00:12):
Never?
Luke (00:12):
Never.

Really?
Luke (00:13):
Yeah.
Emma (00:14):
Have you ever told someone that they have attitude?
Luke (00:18):
I haven't.
Emma (00:19):
Have you thought it in your head?
Luke (00:22):
Yeah. It's just kind of where I shove the mean things in my head into a little black box and never think about 'em.
Emma (00:31):
Fair enough. Well, can we open that little black box 'cause I'm curious. What, what was this person like, who you were thinking that person has attitude?
Luke (00:40):
Um, well attitude wasn't the word that first came to mind. I'm not sure I can say, but, uh, yeah, they just had a demeanor of, uh, it was a little rough around the edges, I suppose.
Emma (01:04):
That person was rough.
Luke (01:05):
Yeah.
Emma (01:05):
Was this a guy or a girl?
Luke (01:09):
This was a guy.
Emma (01:10):
It was a guy. It's interesting 'cause I have this stereotype in my head and it's probably not fair that that phrase, that person has attitude always seems to be associated to women.
Luke (01:21):
Oh, hm.
Emma (01:24):
But no, you're right. Definitely. It can be used with guys. Yeah. That guy has serious attitude. It's kind of a not nice thing to say.
Luke (01:35):
Yeah. But it's just one of those things you encounter in everyday interaction.
Emma (01:45):
When you, when it's like, when you're thinking about it or like thinking of it towards an adult, usually it's kind of mean in, in, in that kind of sense. But if, if it's a child, like a child who has attitude, it kind of has a different feel to it. Like it's more of a, I don't know, the child is still learning kinda how to be nice.
Luke (02:06):
Yeah. More like a phase instead of a kinda hardened out- outlook on life.
Emma (02:14):
Yeah. Like, like the kid is just going through becoming an adult versus a, someone who's an adult and they just have an attitude.
Luke (02:23):
Yeah.
Emma (02:24):
