You are listening to Dialogue Frog's free dialogues in English. So, a few weeks ago, oh, maybe it was a month ago now.
Luke (00:10):
Mm hm.
Emma (00:10):
I had a very bad cold.
Luke (00:12):
Oh.
Emma (00:13):
Very, very bad cold. I was, had a headache, felt nauseous, sick all over. And at that time, I didn't feel like drinking coffee, so, guess what?
Luke (00:29):
You drank coffee?
Emma (00:30):
I quit coffee.
Luke (00:32):
Oh no.
Emma (00:32):
Yeah. And I started drinking tea.
Luke (00:37):
Whoa.
Emma (00:38):
I know. I feel like a traitor.
Luke (00:41):
That... That could be. I mean, we'll have to look into it. We'll get a whole review panel, and we'll decide if you are in fact a traitor.
Emma (00:49):
You're gonna be a committee? The coffee-
Luke (00:51):
Yeah.
Emma (00:51):
-review committee.
Luke (00:52):
Yep.
Emma (00:54):
Every now and then I feel like drinking coffee, but it's not like I have to have coffee. It's not like it was.
Luke (00:59):
Yeah, for sure.
Emma (01:01):
Have you ever, have you ever quit anything like that?
Luke (01:06):
Yeah, I've quit coffee before and it was pretty rough, but I got over it.
Emma (01:13):
That's a short story.
Luke (01:15):
It was. Do you want the long version?
Emma (01:17):
Yeah.
Luke (01:17):
Okay. I was born-
Emma (01:21):
Okay. That's going too far back.
Luke (01:24):
Okay. Um, I did quit coffee a while back and I think I managed around like one or two months and then I had it again and then it was just, it was over. I was, I was back drinking coffee again.
Emma (01:38):
Yeah.
Luke (01:39):
Chugging it really
Emma (01:41):
Gallons.
Luke (01:41):
Gallons.
Emma (01:42):
Yeah.
Luke (01:43):
Filling up a bathtub and slurping it through with the straw.
Emma (01:46):
They actually, I saw they invented something like a gas station and I saw you there except instead of gas-
Luke (01:51):
Yeah.
Emma (01:51):
-it's coffee.
Luke (01:51):
That's true.
Emma (01:52):
