Luke (00:02):
You're listening to an English conversation about asking for favors with Dialogue Frog. So, Emma, could you, uh, hand me that cup o' coffee?

Emma (00:12):
This coffee? This is my coffee.

Luke (00:15):
Oh, you drink it black now. Don't you?

Emma (00:17):
I do. Yeah, even though I previously said that I quit coffee, I've, I've kind of started again.

Luke (00:23):
Coffee betrayal.

Emma (00:25):
I know.

Luke (00:25):
That's a whole 'nother episode.

Emma (00:27):
It's true.

Luke (00:28):
Well, could you hand me this cup of coffee though?

Emma (00:30):
Dude, it's like right next to you.

Luke (00:32):
Oh. My arm's tired.

Emma (00:35):
That's a lazy favor.

Luke (00:37):
Yeah, it is.

Emma (00:39):
All right, here you go.

Luke (00:42):
What, what do you think the, um, laziest favor you've ever asked someone?

Emma (00:47):
Oh, uh, okay. The laziest favor. Okay. Probably I was, I was like laying down watching, it was probably a Korean drama on my laptop.

Luke (00:59):
Uhhuh.

Emma (01:00):
But I wanted headphones, and so I might have asked somebody to hand me headphones and I sent them on a wild goose chase, like in my purse and on my desk. Turns out they were right next to me the whole time.

Luke (01:15):
Wow.

Emma (01:16):
Yeah. And they still handed them to me. What about you? What's-what's the laziest favor you've ever asked for?

Luke (01:26):
Um, I think it was kind of similar. I, uh, was sitting down and, um, which isn't quite as snug as laying down, so it's a little less than perfectly lazy, but I still asked someone to hand me, hand me a drink when the kitchen was like five steps away.

Emma (01:50):
Ah, yep. Mm-hmm.

Luke (01:50):
Mm-hmm.

Emma (01:52):
With a straw?

Luke (01:54):
A little bendy one.

Emma (01:56):
Oh, I mean, if you're lying down, you can't drink anything unless you have that straw.

Luke (02:00):
That's true.

Emma (02:01):
Yep. It's required.

Luke (02:03):
Then you get like neck strain, 'cause then it's like angling your neck down towards the drink.

Emma (02:07):
You could also choke.

Luke (02:09):
That's true.

Emma (02:11):
Death by lazy favor.

Luke (02:13):
What a way to go.

Emma (02:14):
Yep.

Luke (02:15):
