Luke (00:02):
You are listening to an English listening podcast with Dialogue Frog. So, I was thinking, then I was pondering. Then I started wondering, then I went back to thinking,

Emma (00:19):
Those are several words that mean mostly the same thing?

Luke (00:23):
I was wondering about that.

Emma (00:25):
Yeah.

Luke (00:27):
But then I started pondering. I was like, what is something that you've had for a long time that you like, especially cherish or like you come back to, or you think about, or it's like, you would rescue it in a fire.

Emma (00:44):
Oh.

Luke (00:44):
If it was only you and...

Emma (00:47):
Yeah. Okay. I definitely have this. Okay. So, when I was small, I had a little toy bunny. Uh, it was actually a stuffed animal. It was a stuffed animal rabbit and its name is Bun Bun, and Bun Bun is very old now. Bun Bun has many holes and is stained and is dirty because I carried that stuffed animal everywhere on trips, on family trips, around the house. It has seen some things. That stuffed animal has seen some things. Let's not talk about the time that somebody flushed it down a toilet. It is- that poor stuffed animal has had quite the life, but it's probably one of my most prized possessions. Um, 'cause it's always been with me since the earliest time that I can remember.

Luke (01:34):
Hmm.

Emma (01:36):
What about you? Do you have something like that?

Luke (01:41):
Um, I think my first guitar. It was red.

Emma (01:47):
I think a whole bunch of people just rolled their eyes, 'cause you said-

Luke (01:50):
Yeah.

Emma (01:50):
-guitar again.

Luke (01:52):
Yeah.

Emma (01:53):
People might be doing like drinking games to Dialogue Frog. Every time we say coffee or guitar. No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to belittle it, 'cause your-

Luke (02:03):
No.

Emma (02:03):
-first guitar is probably very important to you as a musician.

Luke (02:07):
It's true. Um and it's interesting 'cause I've taken parts from it to fix other guitars I had and it's just become kind of mangled and kind of how Bun Bun is, I imagine.

Emma (02:23):
Yeah.

Luke (02:24):
Um.

Emma (02:26):
Like the Frankenstein of guitars now.

Luke (02:29):
Yeah. Yep. Its-

Emma (02:31):
Does it still play?

Luke (02:33):
Yeah, it's got diff- a lot of different parts on it now. So, it's debatable whether it's still my first guitar or not, but somewhere in there are the, are the juices of juices?

Emma (02:48):
C-

Luke (02:48):
I'm sorry, audience. That's not the right word.

Emma (02:51):
Can you reassemble the guitar from different parts?

Luke (02:56):
Yes, I could. I still, I still have all the original parts somewhere.

Emma (03:03):
Do you want to do that? Do you want to reassemble it?

Luke (03:06):
Eh, I'm lazy. And time.

Emma (03:09):
Yeah.

Luke (03:12):
Well, this has been a eye-rolling slash tear jerking slash emotional roller coaster episode of a Dialogue Frog. For transcripts and vocabulary lists, please visit our website at dialoguefrog.com.
