Rachel (00:02):
Welcome to Dialogue Frog's short English conversations. This is Rachel and I'm here with Luke. And I'm about to ask Luke about his pet peeves. Go ahead, Luke.
Luke (00:13):
Well, I don't want to say I hate it, but I strongly dislike when people leave fruit stickers on the counter, or sometimes they put them on the fridge.
Rachel (00:27):
Somewhere not in the trashcan.
Luke (00:29):
Yeah. It drives me bonkers.
Rachel (00:33):
Just when people don't clean up after themselves in general, I think. Yeah.
Luke (00:39):
Yeah.
Rachel (00:39):
I have admittedly, I have a bad habit of leaving empty water bottles on the counter, which I'm sure my boyfriend is not a huge fan of that. Just leaving trash everywhere. One of mine is when your sock falls down while it's still inside your shoe and you just have to walk around with your sock half off and half on and you're in sock limbo.
Luke (01:06):
Yeah.
Rachel (01:06):
It's- it's not a good time.
Luke (01:08):
It's pretty bad.
Rachel (01:08):
Or you got another one?
Luke (01:11):
Um, well I was going to say, maybe we can balance it out with like some positive things.
Rachel (01:17):
Anti-pet peeves.
Luke (01:17):
Anti-pet peeves.
Rachel (01:17):
Okay.
Luke (01:22):
Um, I think sometimes when...
Rachel (01:31):
I think one of my favorite anti-pet peeves is when you're expecting something in the mail, like something like a good thing, like a Christmas present, and it finally gets to you or it arrives earlier than anticipated.
Luke (01:43):
Yeah.
Rachel (01:43):
That's an anti-pet peeve. That's a good one.
Luke (01:47):
Yeah.
Rachel (01:47):
All right. Well, this has been the pet peeves episode of Dialogue Frog's short English conversations. For transcripts and vocabulary, please visit dialoguefrog.com.

Everyone has different pet peeves. It is common to talk and joke about pet peeves with friends and family. It is so common that a popular YouTube comedy channel, Dude Perfect, created a parody music video all about pet peeves.
