Luke (00:02):
This is an English listening podcast with Dialogue Frog. My name's Luke and I'm here today with Rachel.

Rachel (00:10):
Hey!

Luke (00:10):
And, um, yeah, we're talking about relaxing.

Rachel (00:14):
Relaxing. Being lazy.

Luke (00:17):
Being lazy.

Rachel (00:17):
Doing nothing. My favorite kind of thing to do.

Luke (00:21):
Yep. Sometimes I get so lazy. I can't even finish my.....sentences. Oh yeah. That's what it was.

Rachel (00:32):
That is lazy. You win. Congratulations.

Luke (00:37):
So, what do you do to relax?

Rachel (00:41):
Well, lately I've started playing games on my tablet. I really like mahjong.

Luke (00:50):
Mm hm.

Rachel (00:50):
It's really fun. Or memory; any kind of really simple, mindless game where I just zone out and I don't really think about anything. Yeah. Some people like cleaning to relax and that is not me.

Luke (01:05):
No, that's...

Rachel (01:06):
I can't relax unless there's a mess somewhere.

Luke (01:09):
Yeah.

Rachel (01:11):
Dirty dishes in the kitchen is a hallmark of me being totally relaxed and happy. How about you?

Luke (01:20):
Um, I d- I don't know. I'm, I'm actually kind of stressed, so I need to think about ways I can relax. Um, like you mentioned, games is a good one.

Rachel (01:35):
Mm hm.

Luke (01:35):
Um...

Rachel (01:37):
Its 'cause you can focus, especially with mindless puzzle games.

Luke (01:42):
Yeah.

Rachel (01:42):
Or maybe not even mindless, maybe engaging.

Luke (01:45):
Yeah.

Rachel (01:45):
Puzzles or games help you focus on something else.

Luke (01:49):
Yeah.

Rachel (01:50):
So when you're stressed, it's not, it's not that the game itself is relaxing. It's more of just distracting.

Luke (01:58):
Yeah.

Rachel (01:59):
And that in turn helps you get your mind off your, your problems and your-

Luke (02:03):
Yeah.

Rachel (02:03):
-your struggles.

Luke (02:05):
I just remembered that sometimes when I get sad or upset, I like to drive to new places in the country and just like-

Rachel (02:14):
Yeah.

Luke (02:14):
-see new places 'cause it takes enough concentration to where I need to...

Rachel (02:18):
Yep.

Luke (02:20):
So...

Rachel (02:20):
I agree, going for a drive.

Luke (02:23):
So, um, this has been an English listening podcast with Dialogue Frog. Thank you for listening.
