Emma: You are listening to Dialogue Frog’s Short English Conversations. So, Rachel, ever since we were little you’ve been able to make some pretty amazing voices.

Rachel: I have.

Emma: Of all of the voices that you can do, what is your favorite?

Rachel: My favorite is the one that, I don’t even know how to describe it, it just kinda sounds like a little kid slash strange creature and it sounds like this and I don’t know how I do it, I just do it.

Emma: It’s pretty darn cute.

Rachel: Thank you!

Emma: So uh, can can you give us some example sentences in your your funny voice?

Rachel: Um my name is Rachel and this is Dialogue Frog. Short English Conversations.

Emma: We should use that from now on.

Rachel: You can.

Emma: Oh thank-

Rachel: You have my full permission.

Emma: Oh, thank you.

Rachel: I waive all the rights to my voice unless I get rich and famous then I retain all the rights to my voice.

Emma: Is that how that works?

Rachel: That’s how it works!

Emma: Uh-

Rachel: That’s how it works, baby!

Emma: Um, so while we have you here with with this voice, are there some words you’d like to to share? To teach others? Some English words?

Rachel: Um, the first ones that come to mind are like food. Not even American food. The first one that popped into my brain is lasagna. Or, um, macadamia nut. Or blue suede shoes.

Emma: That’s not a food.

Rachel: No. You just said a word so I’m just talking. I have no control of this. Once I start the voice it it just comes out!

Emma: I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Um-

Rachel: I like to- I like to, use this voice when I’m just being silly. I like to talk to the cats a lot in this voice.

Emma: Do you use it with like at work or-

Rachel: No.

Emma: -only with family and friends?

Rachel: Nope.

Emma: Do you use this voice?

Rachel: Does this sound professional to you?! This is not professional!

Emma: I wish you would answer the phone with that voice one day.

Rachel: Thanks for calling, this is Rachel. How can I help you?

Emma: That was really cute. Ah, okay. Uh, this has been a really cute episode with Rachel and her uh, cute voice.

Rachel: That’s right. And if you need transcripts or vocabulary, just head to dialoguefrog.com!
